The antler was a good treat, but by no means should it be considered large. It would be great for a 30-pound or less dog, but my 70-pound boxer mix ate it in a day. She still has an antler I bought from a nearby shelter last December. Needless to say, I don;t recommend buying antlers online.

i ordered a medium sized antler and it only measures about 4", i assumed it would be longer. The seller should note the dimensions of the antler. But on a great note my pooch who is allergic to beef, chicken and pork absolutely loves the antler and she carries it around the house everywhere she goes. My vet recommended the antlers b/c she can't have the regular bones from the pet stores and he said they are great for her dental hygiene. I will purchase a bigger one next time!

After watching my 82 pound dog chew thru and devour a jumbo rawhide toy in a few hours AND noticing that he did not eat for a few days after, I knew that I needed to find another chew toy. I have tried the rubber toys, he lost interest quickly, the nylon chew toys kept his interest for the day, but soon discarded, I tried them all and then I saw the Antlerz, and although it was extremely pricey, I decided to try it, purchasing the jumbo size. This is the number one toy in our house, he chews on it for hours, he rolls over on it laying on his back and then pounces on it for another round of chewing. This is the 2nd one purchased, the last one lasted a few months and this is with aggressive nightly chewing. This one has been worn down on the corners but I know he has many more nights of enjoyable chewing left. Also as I know this is the first thing he is after when I bring him back inside, I have begun finding hiding spots and it makes it more fun when he finally does find it, which he does every time!

This is a quality item. I purchased this item because I wanted my 10 month old yellow lab to have better breath. This product does the trick: it keeps her teeth cleaner and her breath fresher. It is also a really good value because it lasts quite a while. She's had it for about a week, chews it daily, and it only shows minor wear on the edges. I could see this thing lasting months, easily.

The kitties say this toy is okay. They didn't go as wild over it as I had hoped. The number one toy on my "Precious" kitty's list was a mouse covered in lamb's wool, but was discontinued. She would play with it on her own like there was nothing else around and finally destroyed it through wear and tear. I had hoped this toy would replace it. Overall, I'd say it's worth the purchase to add to the variety of your kitties' toys. Just get some really good catnip to go with it to enhance its appeal.

I and my 3 cats love these animals so much we own three (one for each of course). The refillable cat nip is easy to change out and none of the cats have been able to open the Velcro closure on the back on their own. The toy is built well and has held up to many years of use. My oldest cat even carries hers around like it's a kitten. I can't recommend this item, and it's other animals, highly enough.

I saw this at the drugstores now so bought one for $20. The cats won't use it at all and they do like catnip. They never will try to scratch on anything as stiff as this, its like a regular emery board material. They will scratch on a cardboard scratcher and their favorite is a carpeted one. I am about to throw this out especially if some people say their cats got their nail stuck on it.

I received this as a gift from my parents after they listened to me complain about my cats clawing my furniture and how expensive it would be to get them declawed. I have tried everything to encourage my cats to use it; I spread the catnip on it that was included in the package and...nothing. I bought the catnip that I normally use and the brand the cats love and...nothing. Don't bother with this product. Save your money and your time.
PS they don't even play with the toy that's attached.

My two cats looked at the emery cat board, sniffed it and never used it once. Even with catnip on it. I gave it to my brother and none of his 3 cats wanted anything to do with it. So he passed it onto my other brother and.........you guessed it... his cat was not interested. 6 cats in all. I dont think the people who made this product ever tested it out.
I've read a few reviews that said that their cats actually got hurt by using it by having a nail get pulled out.
Save your money people and get an inexpensive cardboard scatching pad from any pet store.

I purchased this board at Wal-Mart and decided to try it. I have several cats and within 15 minutes the feathery toy was destroyed and nothing was left but the stem. I had no trouble with it tipping and the cats all gathered around it and did use it. Apparently this is nothing but a cardboard type scratcher with sand or abrasive material glued to the top. It's been 4 days now and there is a large area in the middle with all the abrasive material gone and cardboard exposed. I can hear them two rooms away ripping it to shreds. They have destroyed it for it's useful purpose. Maybe one or two cats that use it, but a multiple cat household that use it and it's $20 down the drain and back to the woodwork and couch. They are wrecking balls with claws. And for me declaws are out of the question. That's like cutting the last joint of your fingers off. An easier and more productive solution is a 20" long and 4" diameter tree branch nailed to a sturdy base. I have one of those and it's down to a 2" diameter.

I have three small dogs and they all have their favorite types of toys. Of course they have to be squeaky and small enough to fit in their mouth. And for some reason, my Pekingese really loves frogs. This toy has become his newest favorite. He carries it around the house, "guards" it if either of the other dogs comes near it, and brings it to bed with him at night. He is very good about not trying to chew the squeakers out so this toy will last him a long time. His other frog toy is too big and has stretchy arms and legs. Since Charlie doesn't like to play tug-a-war it didn't interest him as much as this new smaller frog. Kong dog toys are always reliable and last a long time. My toy poodle and Pomeranian like to chew out the squeakers, but the fabric the Kong toys are made from stands up well, and is easy to sew up if they manage to get through the surface.

I actually ordered this for my 40 pound Benji dog. She was a rescue and had to have 15 teeth removed. I figured little and soft would work. Instead this was taken over by my 95 pound lab mix.
Little frog does not have any eyes now ( they were chewed off first thing) but he is carried around and played with regularly.

Mr. Biggs (our dachshund) absolutely LOVES toys that squeak and this one is no exception. His favorite toy has been the 'bo-bo' (seen in the PetCo commercials) but he always ends up ripping them open, chewing the squeaker, and then we have to throw it away (or wait until my better half's mom comes over and sews them up!). THIS toy is great - he's tried to maul it without success! And since it has a velcro back even if he ruins the squeaker I can put in the 'back-up' one that came with it! He has YET to rip open this one or the yellow duckie one. I highly recommend this toy for those that are tired having to sew or throw away squeaker toys!

Didn't pay enough attention to the particulars and didn't realize it had a velcro back so you can change out the squeakers. It's great for my mom's dog that just likes to squeak, but horrible for my dogs that are rougher on toys.

My dog loved this toy. And doh!, I didn't even realize it was meant to be frozen. I bought it because the triangle "fins" make a crinkly noise my dog loves. We've played tug with the knotted string part and he's chewed whole thing and it has held up. This toy had a long "shelf life" both in holding interest and in the materials holding up.

We recently got a Cavalier King Charles and noticed that since she started teething she liked ice cubes. Someone told me ice cubes aren't very good for their teeth so when I saw this I thought it would be the perfect compromise. I agree with other reviewers it doesn't stay cold very long. It actually will stay colder longer if you wet it first then freeze it. My dog doesn't seem to care though - she loves this toy. It quickly became her go to toy. She really likes the knotted streamers off the top and is working hard on taking out the knots. This toy is pretty small and thin - probably more for puppies or small dogs.

We bought this toy when she was a tiny baby, like 3 months old, she was SO in love with it that she wouldn't let go. I really like this toy company, they make their toys make sense - the bright colors (I still don't know if all dogs are color blind) really catch their attention. Wet it and put it in the freezer, take it out after it's frozen and let your puppy play with it, she would feel better about her teething.
But unfortunately my dog pooed on this toy, not once but twice, i had to throw it away.... :(

For a small puppy and or small dog...I think a big dog might rip and tear it up. I have two Shih Tzu's, one is 10 weeks, the other is 7 months.
I bought it for the 7 month pup when he was 8 weeks old & it's in the same condition as it was when I opened it.
Still a favorite for the older pup...great toy for the young ones, crackle noise keeps them interested. Fun to throw...kind of like a frisbee! :)
