My dog loved this toy. And doh!, I didn't even realize it was meant to be frozen. I bought it because the triangle "fins" make a crinkly noise my dog loves. We've played tug with the knotted string part and he's chewed whole thing and it has held up. This toy had a long "shelf life" both in holding interest and in the materials holding up.

We recently got a Cavalier King Charles and noticed that since she started teething she liked ice cubes. Someone told me ice cubes aren't very good for their teeth so when I saw this I thought it would be the perfect compromise. I agree with other reviewers it doesn't stay cold very long. It actually will stay colder longer if you wet it first then freeze it. My dog doesn't seem to care though - she loves this toy. It quickly became her go to toy. She really likes the knotted streamers off the top and is working hard on taking out the knots. This toy is pretty small and thin - probably more for puppies or small dogs.

My puppy enjoyed playing with this toy, chewing on the crinkly flags. However, it did not even endure one week of his baby teeth!
At first, I thought, "Oh well, he has sharp teeth," but then I stopped myself--this *is* a teething stick for dogs, after all! Shouldn't it be made more durable?

Great for puppies or a very small dog. Its fun to play with, but really does not frees, just cools.

We bought this toy when she was a tiny baby, like 3 months old, she was SO in love with it that she wouldn't let go. I really like this toy company, they make their toys make sense - the bright colors (I still don't know if all dogs are color blind) really catch their attention. Wet it and put it in the freezer, take it out after it's frozen and let your puppy play with it, she would feel better about her teething.
But unfortunately my dog pooed on this toy, not once but twice, i had to throw it away.... :(
GREAT TOY!
