"favorite "bored puppy" toy" 2010-03-18
By Daisy's human (North Platte, NE)
I have an aggressive chewer who can be destructive if she gets bored. I was skeptical about this product but thought it might be all right. Many of her toys get "lost" under furniture. This ball is great! (I did not have any problem with the rubber smell that someone else wrote about.) I break up pieces of fruitables, newman's pnut butter treats and dehydrated chicken and put them in the ball. They will fit in the ball full size but it seems to work better if I break them in half. Daisy gets frustrated when she wants to play and has no one to play with. This toy has been great for her. It does not always give her a treat, she has to roll it around for awhile until it lines up just right. It looks like she is playing soccer with it. She pushes and kicks and runs after it. It is a little noisy but it is much better than her standing on my chest when I am trying to sleep. She would much rather play fetch with me but the treat ball is a good substitute when I can't play. I also have a tug jug for her. It is a good product but she tends to flip it in the air and let it fall on the ground to get treats so it is a little noisier.

"Not for chewers, but fun toy" 2010-03-15
By T. Clay
My dog loves this toy and it keeps him very entertained. Its challenging which is exactly what he needed. However, he is a chewer and learned that it is easier to get the food out buy chewing through the plastic. I now give it to him for a brief amount of time and take it away before he begins to chew chunks of plastic off. Its a great toy I only wish they had one durable for heavy chewers.

"My Aussie Just Loves This Ball" 2010-03-14
By Larry Meadows (Fort Mill, SC USA)
When we got this he was not to sure about this, he is very food motivated so as little kibble started falling out. He figured it out pretty fast. Roll the ball get the food. He sleeps in his kennel in our room at night so ever night we fill up the ball and he rolls it all over the place for about 30 minutes. It keeps him occupied big time. I would recommend this to anyone.

"My dog shredded it in 10 minutes!" 2010-03-04
By A. Kolovich
The concept of this ball is great. My dog loved it and quickly figured out she could roll it around to get treats. However as soon as she started to chew on it (even though we got the larger size so she couldn't chomp down too hard) she managed to destroy it within 10 minutes. I had to throw it out so she didn't choke on the plastic pieces she was ripping off. I was really hoping this would be more like the green "everlasting" treat ball that we have had for years and is still in one piece. My dog has gotten so good at that one that I was looking for a new challenge, but that didn't work out.

"Amazing!" 2010-03-04
By A. Nelson (New Jersey)
This ball is a wonderful way to feed your dog and keep them occupied at the same time. When I know I have things I have to get done without four-leeged help, I pour my dog's food into the hole, then put the ball down. She loves rolling it across the floor and watching to see if anything comes out. When it does, she gobbles it up, when it doesn't, she runs and jumps at it and tries again! Four paws up!
