i ordered a medium sized antler and it only measures about 4", i assumed it would be longer. The seller should note the dimensions of the antler. But on a great note my pooch who is allergic to beef, chicken and pork absolutely loves the antler and she carries it around the house everywhere she goes. My vet recommended the antlers b/c she can't have the regular bones from the pet stores and he said they are great for her dental hygiene. I will purchase a bigger one next time!

After watching my 82 pound dog chew thru and devour a jumbo rawhide toy in a few hours AND noticing that he did not eat for a few days after, I knew that I needed to find another chew toy. I have tried the rubber toys, he lost interest quickly, the nylon chew toys kept his interest for the day, but soon discarded, I tried them all and then I saw the Antlerz, and although it was extremely pricey, I decided to try it, purchasing the jumbo size. This is the number one toy in our house, he chews on it for hours, he rolls over on it laying on his back and then pounces on it for another round of chewing. This is the 2nd one purchased, the last one lasted a few months and this is with aggressive nightly chewing. This one has been worn down on the corners but I know he has many more nights of enjoyable chewing left. Also as I know this is the first thing he is after when I bring him back inside, I have begun finding hiding spots and it makes it more fun when he finally does find it, which he does every time!

a bit hard for the dogs to chew regularly, they seem to chew marrow on ends and have ignored for a while now

This is a quality item. I purchased this item because I wanted my 10 month old yellow lab to have better breath. This product does the trick: it keeps her teeth cleaner and her breath fresher. It is also a really good value because it lasts quite a while. She's had it for about a week, chews it daily, and it only shows minor wear on the edges. I could see this thing lasting months, easily.

I imagine this is like how catnip works on cats. Our two puppies have been trying their hardest for about 2 hours now to make a dent in these antlers. Typically even things labelled "Tough" and "For Strong Chewers" would be gone by now. Our pups are mutts, and not big ones, around 25Lbs and these are the perfect size for them. I am so happy to have found something that keeps their interest and holds up to their persistent chew, and its natural!
