The CatGenie Washable Granules will never need replacement but you will need to add additional granules when the level of the granules fall below the line on the bowl. On average you will need to add a few cups a month and a box of granules should last between 4-6 months depending on the number of cats that use the CatGenie. The plastic in the CatGenie Washable Granules has been specially formulated to completely biodegrade in your sewer or septic system in about 9 months or less.

Yes, the cats do track them outside but they are much easier to sweep up than regular cat litter, plus NO DUST!!! WEEEEEEEE!!! Look at ME!!!!

The only people out there buying this product own a Cat Genie, so we already know almost everything about the granules, etc.
I purchased through Amazon to save a few dollars on shipping costs, which I will likely to continue to do since the cost to ship these direct from the Cat Genie people is pretty high. Products arrived quickly and were identical to those that came with the machine.

I almost don't have to deal with litter at all anymore. The system, the solution, and the granules are the best solution for owners of multiple cats. One very small snafu is that you do find the granules almost everywhere in your house. But if you vacuum on a regular this is not a problem. Love the system!!!!!
