This gate is both stylish and useful. I can't imagine it working for large dogs or ones who jump well but, we have a new to us, old Min. Pin. with severe arthritis and a dachshund who no longer jumps.
My husband put wheels on one half of it to make it movable - we did not hook the two parts together. Neither of us are spry enough to step over the gate frequently. The good thing is both halves stand well alone if need be. I can see this making it usable for two different openings if only temporarily.
We are very pleased with it and honestly, I thought well worth the cost of $109.00.

This is a good looking pet gate, it goes well with the furnitures in my house. The gate has a perfect height, it is very easy to step over and keep my two dachshunds at the area that I want them to be, so I do not need to worry about tripping over them or steppen on them while I am cleanning the house or cooking at the kitchen.

We are really pleased with our pet gate. Very surprised at the weight and sturdiness of it. We do have a small dog and it is ideal for her.

Hubby & I needed to block our living room/dining room area to keep the dogs out. We didn't want to damage the walls and we had quite a large opening that needed to be blocked so this gate was the one we chose. We are VERY happy with it. It was easy to put together and it's low enough for us to step over without breaking our necks. The dogs have never tried to push it or jump over it. And it looks much better than your ordinary baby gate. For reference, we have 2 chubby Pugs.

I don't know what this gate could possibly be used for. Probably for falling on your face when you step over it. That's what we did! My grandma owns this gate, and still *tries* to use it. Before we moved out of her house, we had all tripped trying to step over it at least one, and my not-even-one year-old was pushing it around. My grandma has 3 Yorkies, they all weigh 5-6 lbs. One can jump over this gate, and another can push it open.
